About Us

Phoenix United WFC formed in 1994 as an out-lesbian team to encourage and welcome all women to enjoy friendly-competitive football.

Over the years Phoenix has battled to maintain a lofty position in Division 3 of the Greater London League and in season 2002/2003 the team achieved promotion to Division 2.

We are very much a diverse team - ranging from student, to lawyer, to mechanic, to photographer and all sorts in between. Ages range from 20 to 39. All players are, of course, stunningly good looking......
